Payment Optons

Q.  How do I purchase a product online? 

A.  To learn more about a product, click on its image and you will find a complete description.  To purchase the product, select  "Add to Cart".  Choose "CART" to go to CHECKOUT.  


We offer three (3) Payment Options for easy checkout: 

  1. "CHECKOUT with CREDIT CARD" (through SQUARE).

  2. "CHECKOUT with PayPal" (using either a credit card or your Paypal Account.)   YOU DO NOT NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT to place an order.

  3. Check out with a PayPal Account.

Once you have completed our simple online order form, provide shipping and billing information and a credit card number, we will confirm your order via email.

Q.  What forms of payment may I use?

A.  We accept all major credit cards--American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and VISA.   You may also pay using your Paypal Account.  We also accept personal checks, but will not ship your order until the check clears the bank.

Q. Is it safe to use my credit card online?

A. Yes. Our security system prevents unauthorized access to confidential information whether you are online or off-line. We use state-of-the-art software to encrypt your credit card numbers and personal information automatically while they are in transit over the internet, preventing a third party from viewing the information. The instant you reach our checkout page, a padlock symbol at the bottom of your screen indicates that you have entered our secure shopping zone.  An internal security system, known as a firewall, protects information about you stored in our computer from being viewed by a third party.

Q. How are your products shipped?

A.  Our products are shipped by FedEx, UPS, and USPS.   FedEx does not deliver to P.O. boxes, so we need a street address, or if using a rural route number, a complete address and the nearest crossroad.   We make every effort to ship your order as quickly as possible, usually within 1 - 5 days, unless item is on backorder.  During our busy season (from March 1 to June 30) our shipping times may increase to 5 - 7 days. 


Q. Do you ship overseas?

A. No, not at this time.

Shipping Fees

Q. What about shipping large or heavy items?

A. Since many of our wrought iron products are large and heavy, the shipping fees for these items are set higher to compensate for shipping rates which have increased over time.  We try keeping our shipping fees as close to actual charges as possible.  Large quantity orders for window boxes and wrought iron planters are normally shipped via freight depending on the amount ordered.  An additional charge may apply for freight deliveries to residential shipments of large orders.   Quantity Discounts of 10 or more of the same item are available.  Please contact us at 814-381-6268 to get a quote for freight charges.


Q. How do you calculate shipping?

A. Our products DO NOT include shipping costs.  To simplify shipping charges, we organize costs by the dollar amount of your order.  Note that these charges apply per individual address.  Please remember that heavy or oversized products may require an extra shipping charge due to their weight or size.  Due to inadequate options from our website company to allow us to set more shipping ranges on our website, please call us if you feel the shipping fees to your State are exorbitant, and we will see if we can give you a better rate.  IMPORTANT -- When placing your order online, PLEASE USE THE CORRECT OPTION TO SHIP TO YOUR STATE or DELIVERY DESTINATION; OTHERWISE, YOUR SHIPMENT WILL BE CANCELLED (See below).


Q.  Cancellation of Order 

A.  Credit Card processing fees will no longer be refunded if orders cancelled after payments received, whether partial or full.  Window Gardens Direct has the right to cancel your order upon receipt if SHIPPING OPTION TO YOUR STATE OR DELIVERY DESTINATION IS NOT USED.  A refund will be issued less the credit card processing fee or other merchandising fees.

Q. What other charges are applied to my order?

A. Orders in the state of Pennsylvania will be charged 6% sales tax.


Q.  What is your Return Policy?

A.  Damages must be reported to us and the delivery company within 24 hours of delivery.  If there are any product damages upon receipt of items, please contact us at 814-381-6268 for instructions to return items.  No returns will be accepted without getting a return authorization number from us.  This number must be written on the packages to be identified when returned.  Please return the items in the original packaging.  Failure to do any of the above may result in a lost credit.  Returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.  We will issue a full or partial refund, less processing fees, for the price of any non-custom item you return that meets all of these conditions.  You may return any non-custom item in its original condition.  We can only refund the original shipping costs if the return is a result of our error, which will be determined upon receipt of the returned items.   Shipping costs for returned items will be at the customer's expense.  No refunds will be issued after 30 days from date of purchase.
